QUETTA (92 News) – A military "combing" operation has been in the south-western province of Balochistan in the wake of Monday's suicide attack on a Quetta hospital which killed at least 70 and left more than 100 wounded. In a statement issued by the ISPR, at least 500 Frontier Corps soldiers, 150 police personnel are taking part in the operation, while 100 Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF) will also take part in the operation. Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif had directed to accelerate the combing operation following the suicide bombing in Quetta. On the other hand, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Amir Riaz chaired a high-level meeting. The meeting decided to make strict arrangements for the protection of lives and properties of the common people.
