Committee formed to provide relief to Rohingya Muslims, says Ch Niar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has asked the international community to take notice of genocide of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. In a statement on Saturday, he said silence of the United Nations and other world bodies over the massacre of Rohingya Muslims has raised many questions. Ch Nisar said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the federal ministers had expressed their concern over the issue during the recent Cabinet meeting. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had constituted a special committee to provide relief to Rohingya Muslims. Meanwhile, a meeting of the committee will be held in Islamabad on Sunday to take stock of the situation in Myanmar. The meeting will be attended by its members, including Interior Minister Ch Nisar, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi.
