KARACHI (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to form a Provincial Coordination and Implementation Committee to monitor the projects under the Karachi transformation plan. Addressing a high-level meeting on Saturday, the prime minister said that Karachi is an important city and economic hub of Pakistan. "Resolution of the problems of Karachi is possible through mutual partnership," he added. He assured all-out support from the Centre for the losses due to rains and floods in Sindh. Meanwhile, PM Imran Khan also held a meeting of delegations of traders and industrialists. "The business community plays an important role in the progress of the country. It is responsibility of the government to provide facilities to business," he said. The delegation presented proposals to promote exports and tax reforms. On the other hand, a three-member delegation of the MQM called on PM Imran Khan. The delegation including Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haq and Faisal Sabazwari apprised the prime minister about the old problems of Karachi. GDA leader Pir Sadruddin Rashadi also called on PM Imran Khan. They discussed the devastation caused by recent rains and floods.
