Community teachers’ sit-in near D Chowk enters 10th day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Community teachers continued their sit-in near D Chowk for the 10th day on Wednesday. The protesters, including women, tried to march towards Parliament House. They scuffled with the police in an attempt to remove barbed wires and barriers. They demanded payment of salaries and regularization of jobs. The police have arrested some protesters who were later released. A heavy contingent of police has been deployed at the site.
