Complete shutdown being observed in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR (92 News) – In Indian-held Jammu Kashmir (IHK), a complete shutdown is being observed, on Sunday, in Ganderbal district central Kashmir against the killing of a local student. Reports said that all the business establishments are closed while the traffic is also off the road. Heavy deployment of the Indian forces has also been made at all the sensitive points of the district. The student was identified as Rahil Rashid Sheikh, an M.Tech student of Nunner area of Ganderbal district.
Indian troops martyr two Kashmiri youth in IHK
On Saturday, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth in Shopian district. According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops martyred the youth, Rahil Rashid Sheikh and Bilal Ahmed during a cordon and search operation at Padguchi in Imam Sahib area of the district. The operation continued till last reports came in. Meanwhile, the Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the Kashmir High Court Bar Association and the Jammu and Kashmir Islami Tanzeem-e-Azadi in their statements strongly condemned the use of brute force against the detainees at Central Jail, Srinagar. Several detainees lodged in the jail were injured due to the use of brute force against the protesting inmates on Thursday evening. On the other hand, India’s Taj Mahal echoed with slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ on the event of the annual Urs of Emperor Shahjahan. In Brussels, the President of All Party Group on Kashmir in the European Parliament, Julie Ward, and Vice President, Klaus Buchner, in a joint statement, today, said that they were convinced that right to self-determination to the Kashmiris should no longer be denied. They added that India’s infamous National Investigation Agency has pinpointed the Hurriyat leaders for fake cases simply because they advocate the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir.
