Condition of 'mahram' with women for Hajj and Umrah abolished

RIYADH (92 News) - The Saudi authorities have abolished the condition of 'mahram' with women for Hajj and Umrah has been abolished.

As per details, now women can travel to Saudi Arabia alone without any 'mahram' and enjoy the blessings of Hajj and Umrah. Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that no number of Umrah visas has been set and people coming to Saudi Arabia on any type of visa from around the world can now perform Umrah. 

“We want to reduce the expenses of Hajj and Umrah, but it depends on many other things. Modern technology has been used and digitized to provide facilities to the pilgrims of Haramain Sharifain,” he concluded.
