Coronavirus cases in Pakistan soar to 93,983, death toll at 1,935

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 4,734 new coronavirus cases emerged in the country over the last 24 hours, taking the tally to 93,983. According to the data available with the National Command and Control Centre, these include 35,308 in Punjab, 34,889 in Sindh, 12,459 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5776 Balochistan, 4,323 Islamabad, 897 Gilgit Baltistan and 331 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The death toll from the virus stands at 1,935 with 97 deaths reported over the last 24 hours. As many as 32,581 patients have so far recovered from the disease. In total, 22,185 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, increasing the tally to 660,508.
