Congo virus claims another life in Quetta

QUETTA (92 News) – Another woman lost her life due to Congo virus in Quetta on Sunday, taking the death toll from the virus to nine in the provincial capital’s Fatima Jinnah Hospital. As per details, a woman namely Fatima Bibi, resident of Afghanistan was brought to Quetta four days ago after which her blood samples was sent to laboratory for examination. The lab reports confirmed that she was affected of Congo virus but Fatima succumbed to the virus. According to doctors, they are facing problems due to shortage of diagnosis of the virus and dialysis machines. As many as 82 cases of Congo virus have been reported across the Balochistan and 22 patients have been confirmed with the virus.
