Constitution, election delayed for return of a person: Bilawal Bhutto
KARACHI (92 News) - PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that the constitution and the election were delayed for the return of a person.
Addressing a public meeting held to express solidarity with the Palestinians and families of the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy on Wednesday, he said that the government will have to conduct the election. "The politics of selection has played havoc with democracy," he declared.
Bilawal Bhutto said that politicians will have to shun the politics of hate and abusive language. "We will have to raise the slogan 'Na Mera Na Tera, Hum Sub Ka Pakistan'. Space will have to be given to the parliament and the state," he added.
He said that the Pakistani prime minister and the foreign minister will have to speak for Palestine. "The Palestinians are not alone and the people of Pakistan are with them. The Palestinians cannot be alone until Pakistan exists," he declared.
