ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, NI(M), has said that Article 19 of the Constitution clearly defines the limits of freedom of speech and expression of opinion.

Addressing the passing out parade of the Pakistan Air Force on Thursday, he said that the violators of the limit of freedom of expression cannot point fingers at others. "We are well aware of our constitutional limits and expect others to uphold the constitution as well," declared the COAS.

COAS Asim Munir said that the indiscriminate killings in Gaza is the proof that violence is increasing in the world. "The Gaza war is an example of what kind of sufferings wars can bring," he added.

He said that India had illegally occupied Kashmir. "The world silence on Indian aggression cannot suppress the voice of Kashmiris," he declared.

The COAS said the arms race is also likely to upset the balance of power in the region. "Advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics and quantum computing are changing the use of air power as well as expanding its scope. Without a strong Air Force, a country is at the mercy of any aggressor. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has always lived up to the expectations of the nation. The PAF patrolled the airspace in all kinds of difficulties with unparalleled bravery and professionalism, a great example of which is in front of us all in February 2019," he declared.
