Constitution states that polls should be held in 90 days, but rulers denying it: Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that the constitution states the elections should be held within 90 days, but the rulers are denying it.

Addressing students and intellectuals on Monday, he said that the constitution is being violated by not holding the elections within 90 days.

"The objective of my movement is to fight for the justice system. There is no future of any country until the law continues to give the NRO to the powerful criminals," he maintained.

He said that the rulers are violating the constitution by not holding the elections within 90 days. "The powerful is above the law in the country. Democracy cannot run without the rule of law. Mental slavery paralyses the ability to think. Still we could not come out of mental slavery," he added.

The PTI chairman said that the country lacking justice cannot make progress.
