Constitutional crisis: Fazalur Rehman announces to observe Friday as protest day

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman has announced to observe Friday as the protest day over the constitutional crisis in the country.

Talking to the media on Wednesday, he demanded that the institutions should play their role of the protection of the constitution.

He urged the nation and workers to take out rallies to negate this undemocratic and unconstitutional step.

The PDM chairman demanded that the ruling of the National deputy speaker should nullified. "Imran Khan has embroiled the country in the constitutional crisis. Conditions of anarchy are being created in the country," he maintained.

He said that the constitution that is the foundation for the unity of the country was sabotaged. "The coming Friday should be observed as Juma Tahafuz Constitution of Pakistan."

He said that the Supreme Court's suo motu notice is good thing, but normal proceedings are creating unrest in the country.
