Contempt of Court Case: ECP rejects Imran Khan’s reply

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has Wednesday rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s reply in a contempt of court case and gave him another chance for submitting another reply until June 7.

The ECP resumed hearing of the contempt of court case by PTI chairman Imran Khan.

During the proceedings, Fawad Chaudhry, the counsel of PTI submitted party chairman’s reply and said that the contempt of court case is based on misunderstanding.

Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Muhammad Raza remarked that the ECP is providing another opportunity to the PTI chairman to submit reply until June 7.

The court adjourned the hearing till June 7.
