Petitioner asked to re-submit plea against Nawaz after amendment

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday directed the petitioner to make changes and again submit in the court in the contempt of court application against Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz. The IHC judge resumed hearing of contempt of court application against Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz. In today’s proceedings, the IHC judge remarked that the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) be excluded from the list of respondents and application be submitted in the court in the next two days. The court remarked that no directions could be given to PEMRA on the basis of contempt of court application. The court observed that the petitioner should file another application if it wants that the directions should be issued to PEMRA. The court further adjourned the hearing until February 12.
