Contempt of Court: Imran Khan fails to submit reply; Daniyal Aziz gets time

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has on Wednesday again failed to submit reply in the court in contempt of court case.

A five-member bench of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) resumed hearing of the contempt of court case.

During the proceedings, the counsel of Imran Khan said that he could not discuss the notice with his client as he was in Nathia Gali.

The tribunal adjourned the hearing until June 19.

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz pleaded the court to give him time to submit reply.

During the proceedings, Daniyal Aziz said that he is very sad to hear contempt of court, adding that his statements are being manipulated.

The ECP allowed PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz to submit reply until June 13.
