ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday ordered PTI chairman Imran Khan to re-submit the reply in a week in the contempt of court case.

Expressing his dissatisfaction on the written reply submitted by Imran Khan, Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked that Imran Khan had threatened a female judge in his words.

"We did not expect such statement from a person like Imran Khan. In the written reply, we hoped that Imran Khan would have felt his mistake. But it seems that Imran Khan does not have feeling what he has done," he maintained.

The court appointed Makhdoom Ali Khan and Munir A Malik as court assistants.

In his written reply, Imran Khan said that he was ready to withdraw his inappropriate words about the female judge. He, however, refused to tender an apology in this regard. He also objected to the maintainbility of the case as well as the powers of the deputy registrar.

Talking to journalists informally, PTI chairman Imran Khan said he did not know Zeba Chaudhary is a judicial officer. "I have asked for court proceedings over my statement," he added.
