Controversial interview: President Mamnoon Hussain to accept Mushahidullah’s resignation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday sent the resignation of Senator Mushahidullah Khan to president Mamnoon Hussain under article 92 and requested to accept the resignation. Sources said that president Mamnoon Hussain will approve Senator Mushahidullah’s resignation. “Mushahidullah apologized to the prime minister for his controversial interview to the British Broadcasting Company (BBC),”sources said. Sources said that president Mamnoon Hussain has played an important role in arranging meeting between Mushahidullah and Nawaz Sharif, as the prime minister refused to meet Senator Mushahidullah.
