Controversial tweet: PTI Senator Azam Swati arrested, remanded for two days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested PTI Senator Azam Swati for posting a controversial tweet on social media.

Later, a local court remanded in the custody of the FIA for two days. The court also ordered to conduct the medical examination of the accused.

According to the FIR, Azam Swati posted a ridiculous tweet to achieve his wrong objectives and tried to instigate the people by spreading wrong information.

Talking to the media outside court, Azam Swati said that he had not violated the law and the constitution. He accused the agencies of torturing him.
