Controversial tweets case: Azam Swati remanded in FIA custody for four days
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A local court remanded PTI Senator Azam Swati in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for four days.
The court also ordered the FIA not to produce him in court till further orders.
Babar Awan. counsel for the PTI, had requested the court not to produce him, due to security threats.
On the other hand, the court postponed the case pertaining to presenting details of the cases registered against Azam Swati.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought details of the control of the provincial IGs by the Interior secretary. His counsel had requested not to shift Azam Swati to another city from Islamabad.
