Imran Khan's long march is against establishment, not govt: Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that the murder of policeman has exposed the sinister face of Imran Khan.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, she said that Imran Khan should start the revolution from his house. "Imran Khan should bring his both sons at the front line during the 'Azadi March'," she added.

She said that depressed face of Imran Khan shows that he has been trapped after announcing the long march. "He terms the establishment as Mir Sadiq and Mir Jaffar, not the government. Firstly, he used to say the animal is neutral. Later, he asked the institutions to be neutral and now he asks them not to be neutral," she maintained.

She said that the institutions should not be intimidated by these things and should decide in the favour of the nation. "An attempt to make the country like Sri Lanka will not succeed," she added.

Maryam Nawaz said that Imran Khan had invented a narrative to deceive the people. "Imran Khan is holding the long march against the establishment, not the government," she maintained.

She said that the country cannot make progress in the presence of Imran Khan. "After being toppled, Imran Khan said that only the animal is neutral. Have you named the chair and Farah Goggi as independence?" she questioned.

The PML-N leader said that these people are openly talking about the bloody march. "Imran Khan should come out of the world of dreams as his world has changed," she added.

She said that the people of Punjab handed over their mandate to them after snatching it from Farah Gogi and Buzdar.
