Corona is expected to rise in January, says FM Qureshi

Speaking to the journalists in Multan on Sunday, FM Qureshi said that there was great concern over the increasing cases of corona across the country. "How can politicians who play with human lives be benevolent to the people. Those who have hope for the end of the government from the rallies should wait," he added.

FM Qureshi said that the opposition should not have held a Multan rally and the administration should not have blocked the routes through containers. "In these circumstances the public and media have to play their role for awareness and the citizens are not paying attention to SOPs. We can run only awareness campaigns but not take strict actions."

The foreign minister maintained that the PTI had eradicated the rotten and corrupt system. "The PDM was not digesting the country's development and change, the politicians involved in it were in fact enemies of the country's development."

"The PPP, PML-N should have gauged its popularity from the Gilgit-Baltistan elections. The PDM parties aim to spread chaos in the country. They are following the lead of foreign powers," he mentioned.

FM Qureshi further said that the future of the region is linked with CPEC. "We will protect this project and bring it to completion. We will continue to fight for the legitimate right of Kashmiris to self-determination at every forum," he added.
