ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Coronavirus-affected doctors are forced to treat patients at Pakistan Institutes of Medical Sciences (PIMS). In a video message on Tuesday, Dr Sarwat said that she had been called to duty despite having all symptoms of coronavirus. “I have tested positive for coronavirus. Another doctor working with me has also tested positive for COVID-19,” she said. She added that she had advised the administration to seal MCH, but no step was taken. “I am performing my duty despite being diagnosed with coronavirus,” she added. Dr Sarwat said that she had been confined to a room having no washroom. She appealed to keep in a special room reserved for coronavirus patients. On the other hand, the PIMS administration took action when the 92 News aired the news about Dr Sarwat. She and other affected doctors have been given separate rooms.
