Coronavirus cases in Pakistan soar to 64,028, death toll at 1,317

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 57more deaths were reported due to the COVID-19 pandemic across the country during the last 24 hours, increasing the toll to 1,317. According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday, 2,636 more cases were reported and as a result, the total number of cases increased to 64,028. According to the break up, there are 25,309 cases in Sindh, 22,964 in Punjab, 3,928 in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 8,842. The number of coronavirus patients is 227 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 658 in Gilgit-Baltistan. In total, 11,931 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours across the country, increasing the total tests conducted so far to 520,017.
