Coronavirus claims 79 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 79 more deaths due to coronavirus and 3,980 new cases have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 64,053 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained 6.21 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 26,114. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,175,558.

Till now 47,868 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 24,644 in Punjab, 7,942 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,174 in Islamabad, 495 in Balochistan, 2,578 in Azad Kashmir and 375 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 435,159 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 397,694 in Punjab, 163,677 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 100,242 in Islamabad, 32,329 in Balochistan, 32,484 in Azad Kashmir and 9,993 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
