Coronavirus claims eight more lives during last 24 hours across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as eight people died due to Covid-19 while 554 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours across the country.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 46,128 tests were conducted while the positivity ratio remained at 1.20 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 28,566. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,278,114.

Till now 13,379 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 7,677 in Punjab, 1,403 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 318 in Islamabad, 122 in Balochistan, 45 in Azad Kashmir and 14 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 472,519 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 441,378 in Punjab, 178,773 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 107,198 in Islamabad, 33,356 in Balochistan, 34,495 in Azad Kashmir and 10,395 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
