Coronavirus claims 98 lives during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 98 more deaths due to coronavirus and 3,316 new cases have been reported across the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 52,314 tests were conducted while positivity ratio remained 6.33 percent. The death toll due to pandemic in the country has reached 26,330. The number of positive cases has surged to 1,186,234.

Till now 48,669 active cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Sindh, 26,478 in Punjab, 7,981 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6,239 in Islamabad, 404 in Balochistan, 2,202 in Azad Kashmir and 342 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore, 439,119 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 405,005 in Punjab, 165,512 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 101,249 in Islamabad, 32,411 in Balochistan, 32,873 in Azad Kashmir and 10,065 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
