Coronavirus devastations: Shifa Foundation holds prayers ceremonies in mosques

Special prayers offered after Friday prayers in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur

92 News Karachi (Bureau Report) – Shifa Foundation, a renowned, credible and social services rendering organization, held prayers ceremonies in several mosques of Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur.

After the Friday prayers, people offered collective and individual prayers from the core of their hearts, and with sobbing eyes and shivering hands humbly and sincerely.

Worry and sadness were visible from each face due to the concerning situation in the wake of increasing spread of Coronavirus. On the one side, the dangerous pandemic caused a huge loss of precious human lives and its devastations damaged economy badly on the other side.

The Government of Pakistan had announced observing the blessed and auspicious day of Friday as 'Youm-e-Dua' on December 4.

Shifa Foundation's efforts with regard to 'Youm-e-Dua' reflect a sincere thought

Talking to journalists, Kashif Shamim Siddiqui from Shifa Foundation said that "concrete steps" and "positive awareness sessions" have significant importance in the wake of increasing threats of Coronavirus and the situation arising after rains and flood, especially in Sindh.

"Under the UNICEF funded project, invaluable services are being rendered by Shifa Foundation in Sindh with regard to the COVID and Flood Rain Emergency Response," he added.

Kashif Siddiqui further stated that efforts of their team members regarding 'Youm-e-Dua' are also laudable. "Talha in Karachi, Sajida in Hyderabad and Ayaz in Sukkur along with their teams actively participated in this pious and important work. We pray that may the prayers offered on this day bear fruit," he concluded.
