Coronavirus testing capacity increased to 3,000-1,400 per day: Fayyazul Hassan Chohan

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Minister for Colonies Fayyazul Hassan Chohan said that the corona testing capacity had been increased to 3,000 from 1,400 per day. Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that the testing capacity would be increased to 5,000. “Field hospitals have been made operational. The relief package has been extended to 2.5 million families from 1.8 families,” he said. The minister said that the field hospitals would have the capacity of 1,450 beds. He said that Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar had released Rs620 million to upgrade laboratories in different hospitals. On the other hand, the Punjab Forensic Science Agency has made arrangements to conduct the corona tests.
