Coronavirus third wave claims 39 more lives across country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 39 more people died of coronavirus during the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic during the last 24 hours.

According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Wednesday, 930 new infections were reported during this period. With the current deaths, the overall toll has reached 22,073 while the number of reported cases so far is 950,768.

The positive cases rate remained at 2.04 percent. During the last 24 hours, 45,519 tests were conducted.

The province-wise cases are: Sindh (333,194), KPK (137,247), Punjab (345,251), Islamabad (82,431), Balochistan (26,776), Azad Jammu and Kashmir 20,019 and Gilgit Baltistan (5,850).
