Coronavirus third wave claims 83 lives, 1,531 new infections reported in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 83 more people died from the Covid-19 pandemic, and 1,531 new infections reported in the country during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Saturday, 30,248 tests were conducted and positivity ratio remained 5.06 percent.

The province-wise cases were: Sindh (297,078), KPK (126,614), Punjab (324,589), Islamabad (79,027), Balochistan (23,814), Azad Jammu and Kashmir (18,212) and Gilgit Baltistan (5,417).

The death toll due to pandemic in the country has now reached 19,467.
