Corps commanders’ conference reviews geo-strategic environment, security

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – The 217th Corps Commanders’ Conference presided by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa was held at General Headquarters on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the forum reviewed geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country. The meeting also discussed progress of ongoing operations, fencing along Pak-Afg border, situation along eastern border, including Indian ceasefire violations deliberately targeting innocent citizens and Afghan reconciliation process. The forum reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.
