Corps commanders review country’s security situation

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday presided over a Corps Commanders’ conference and reviewed overall country’s security situation. The Core Commanders Conference meeting was held at the GHQ in Rawalpindi. The meeting was continued till seven hours in which key important matters of national security came under discussion. The internal and external security of the country was discussed with detail during the meeting. In his tweet, Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General (DG) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor shared a video of the meeting which was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
DG ISPR to hold press conference tomorrow
The DG ISPR is set to hold and all-important press conference tomorrow, (Wednesday). The presser is set to take place at 3pm which will underline the topics of discussion in the latest core commander conference. DG ISPR will also address other important issues and matters of concern like the internal situation of Pakistan, the external threats it faces and the dismal situation of Indian occupied Kashmir. Earlier, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa presided over the 221st Corps Commanders’ Conference held at General Headquarters. According to the ISPR, the conference reviewed evolving geo-strategic environment and security situation of the country, including progress of operation Raddul Fasaad. The forum reiterated to continue its efforts for bringing enduring peace in the country while supporting all initiatives towards regional peace.
