Corrupt can run for few days not forever, says President Mamnoon

LONDON (92 News) – President Mamnoon Hussain said it’s God’s law that the corrupt can run for few days but they cannot escape from the justice forever. Speaking to the journalists after reaching London, he said that the people involved in corruption cases in Pakistan. He believed that the corrupt can never escape the punishment. “It is God’s law,” he added. The president mentioned that he has always been a supporter of accountability, adding that it should be a ‘good’ one. He termed that some cases of the accountability process are good and some of them wrong in Pakistan. He further said that the accountability should be carried out in a 'proper' way. To a question regarding former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Mamnoon Hussain said that he wanted to meet him in hospital, adding that he would visit Begum Kulsoom Nawaz during his visit. The president confirmed that he came to London on the invitation of Tal College of Physician Edinburgh as they were bestowing him honorary degree.
