LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said on Thursday that the corruption will not be tolerated at any cost. The Punjab chief minister held a press conference and presented the 100-day performance of his government. He announced that everyone has to accountable for money of the country’s taxpayers. Usman Buzdar also mentioned payments worth millions due to be paid by Pervez Rasheed, Asif Kirmani and Mushaidullah. “The corrupt people will be accountable of every penny. The notices will be issued who pay the money of government,” he said. The chief minister explained that the incumbent government saved 3 million rupees with austerity drive, adding that the previous government deployed four officers with the former Punjab chief minister. Usman Buzdar said that the PTI-led government firstly launched an anti-encroachment operation. “240 kanal land of government was retrieved during the anti-encroachment drive launched in the province. This land will be given to the different departments through a proper bank.” The chief minister also said that three cases surfaced against the Bahria Town, adding Bahria also occupied the Auqaf land. He revealed that the land worth of Rs5 billion was sold fraud and most of the land was retrieved in Dera Ghazi Khan. The Punjab chief minister said that the retrieved land is worth near to the Punjab development projects.
