ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan is presiding over a meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CII) on Monday. The chief ministers of all four provinces are present in the meeting. The forum is discussing the implementation of the formula of giving benefit on water to the provinces. The LNG import issue will also be discussed during the meeting. Moreover, the CCI annual report 2016 and 2017 will also be presented during the meeting. The amended manuscript of the Petroleum Policy 2012 will also likely to be approved during the meeting. A summary regarding privatization of the Haveli Bahadur Shah and Balloki Power Plants has also been sent to the CCI. The recommendations of the attorney general about the agreement of water distribution have also been included in the agenda. A draft of the appointment of WAPDA chairman and members will also be presented in the meeting.
