Counter-Terrorism Department seized illegal weapons cache in Karachi raid

KARACHI (92 News) –A heavy amount of illegal weapons and hand grenades were seized, while five people were arrested and in two different operations conducted by the police and Counter-Terrorism Department in Karachi. Counter-Terrorism Department conducted an operation on the information of suspected target killers Sanwal and Hateem in Rasala and seized 6 SMG Rifles, 3 222-rifles, 4 Repeaters, 3 pistols, 2 8mm-rifles and hand grenades. On the other hand, police conducted raids in Saeedabad and Awami Colony and arrested 5 suspects. Police also recovered weapons from their possessions.
