LAHORE (92 News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the country is facing the worst fiscal deficit in history.

He expressed these views during a meeting with CPNE officials. During the meeting, the prime minister said that Imran Khan laid a mine for the next government by freezing oil prices. “We want to give a relief to the people but rising oil prices in the world are a chain on our feet. If we would be strong then no one can dictate to us.”

“PECA Ordinance should be reviewed and clauses against freedom of the press in it should be removed immediately,” he added.

The prime minister said that a detailed meeting was held with the bureaucrats. "In the presence of the NAB, the bureaucrats are under severe pressure. They say that they cannot work in the presence of NAB."

He said that Imran Niazi has brought CPEC in the worst state. “We are highly respected in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Our position on Kashmir is the same as that of Kashmiris. The Kashmir issue cannot be resolved unless we are strong,” he maintained.
