Country would have gone bankrupt if PTI chairman had remained PM: Raja Riaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Raja Riaz said that the country would have gone bankrupt if the PTI chairman had remained the prime minister.

Expressing his views in the farewell session of the National Assembly on Wednesday, he said that the PM Shehbaz Sharif had saved the country from the default and unified the institutions. "The opposition played a great role in saving the country from the default," he added.

He said that the PTI chairman had selected and appointed Usman Buzdar as the chief minister. "Farah Gogi ran the government and the 'Peerni' started necromancy. I told the PTI chairman that these things were not good for the government and the future," he maintained.

Raja Riaz said that the DCOs and the ACs were appointed after paying the bribe. "We opposed the PTI chairman when the country started the journey of destruction," he added.
