Couple shot dead over 'love' marriage in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - A couple was shot dead at their residential property for 'honour' in Shah Lateef Town in Karachi on late Thursday, police said. Police said the suspects entered their house, shot Ibrar and his wife Shabana dead and escaped from the crime scene. Preliminary police investigations revealed that the victims belonged to Bannu and they did court marriage. The bodies were shifted to the city's mortuary for postmortem examination and a case was registered. Police said the suspect could be a family member.
