Couple shot dead, son injured in Lahore's Kahna area

LAHORE (92 News) – A couple was shot dead while their son was injured by unknown assailants in the Kahna police limits on Tuesday.

Salamat along with his wife and son was going to drop his daughter at a seminar when the attackers opened fire on them. The couple died on the spot, while their son hid himself in a shop.

The accused chased the boy and shot injured him after lifting the shutter of the shop. He was critically injured after being hit by two bullets. The girl remain unhurt. Later, the accused managed to escape.

IGP Punjab Rao Sardar has taken notice of the incident and formed teams to arrest the accused.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the IGP Punjab.

Model Town Investigations SP Ammara said that the incident seems to be a result of an enmity. She said that the accused would be arrested soon.
