Court dismisses plea seeking treason case against Maryam Nawaz in Sukkur

SUKKUR (92 News) - Additional Sessions Judge Mumtaz Solangi dismissed a plea seeking a treason case against PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz.

The court announced the reserved verdict on Friday. In the written verdict, the court ruled that cases can only be registered within the jurisdiction of court under section 177 CRPC.

It ruled that pleas against PTI Senators Azam Swati have been dismissed by the apex courts of Sukkur, Sindh and Balochistan.

PTI Sukkur district president Zaheer Babar had filed a plea for a treason case against Maryam Nawaz.
