Court extends interim bail of Jahangir Tareen, son till May 19

LAHORE (92 News) – The sessions court extended the interim bail of PTI estranged leader Jahangir Tareen and his son Ali Tareen in the money laundering case till May 19.

The court sought a complete investigation report from the FIA on the next date. The judge remarked that there are several faults in the case.

As many as 21 lawmakers, including Nauman Leghari, Ajmal Cheema, Abdul Hayee Dasti, Ameer Muhammad Khan, Rafaqat Gillani, Faisal Jabwana, Khurram Leghari, Aslam Bharwana, Nazeer Chohan, Asif Majeed, Bilal Warraich, Umar Aftab Dhilon, Tahir Randhawa and Zawar Warraich, also accompanied him.

Talking to the media, Jahangir Tareen said that they had never run away from the investigation. "We just want investigation. I have no connection with the PML-N and the PPP,' he maintained.
