Court extends MQM leader Amir Khan's remand till June 25

KARACHI (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court on Friday extended Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan's judicial remand till June 25. As per reports, the MQM leader was brought to court amid tight security. During case hearing, the investigation officer sought extension in Khan’s remand. The court accepted his plea and sent the accused on judicial remand till June 25. The court ordered the police to produce him the next day after expiry of his remand and present a complete challan against the accused. Amir Khan was arrested in a case pertaining to giving refuge to criminals at Nine-Zero and adjacent localities as he was the security head of MQM headquarters when it was raided by Rangers and hard-core terrorists arrested from there.
