ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The accountability court on Monday extended the physical remand of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) lawmaker Faryal Talpur till July 29 in fake bank accounts case. Faryal Talpur was presented before Islamabad accountability court. The NAB prosecutor pleaded the court for another extension in physical remand of Talpur for further interrogation. Judge Muhammad Bashir accepted the request of the NAB and the PPP lawmaker remanded into NAB custody till July 29. Faryal Talpur is under house arrest in her residence in Islamabad. Court approves physical remand of Faryal Talpur till June 24 On June 15, an accountability court had remanded Talpur, sister of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for 9 days. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested Talpur, sister of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, in the money laundering case.Former president Asif Ali Zardari is already under arrest. On June 10, the NAB arrested Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari from his Islamabad residence after the Islamabad High Court’s (IHC) rejected his pre-arrest bail plea in the money laundering case.
