Court grants bail to PML-N's Attaullah Tarar, three other leaders

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Gujranwala judicial magistrate on Monday has granted bail to PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar and three others.

According to Atta Tarar’s counsel, local magistrate Asif Khan granted bail to the PML-N leader and three other arrested activists of the party today.

The concerned authorities have also registered a case against 60 people over exchanging harsh words with the officers and threatening them of severe consequences.

The FIR mentioned that the PML-N leader had tried to release the suspects from the jail.

On Sunday night, Ali Pur Chattha police arrested PML-N leader Attaullah Tarar among the other party leaders and workers.

Responding to the arrest, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that Ata Tarar attacked the police. He also said that he did not try to become wrestler all the time. "Hopefully, he will be released from prison after three years as a good child," he added.

It was also reported that MNA Dr Iftikhar Cheema and MPA Adil Buksh were also taken into custody of police.

On the other hand, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif and party Vice President Maryam Nawaz condemned the arrest of N league workers.

The PML-N vice-president said that those who arrested Ata Tarar should be ashamed.
