ANP secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain released from jail

NOSHERA (92 News) – Awami National Party secretary general Mian Iftikhar Hussain was released from jail after a local court granted him bail in the murder case of a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) worker. As per reports, the court directed the accused to submit bail bonds worth Rs 200,000 in this regard. Earlier on Monday, the victim's father told court that Mian Iftikhar Hussain was not involved in the murder of his son, and that he was pressured into nominating him in the First Information Report (FIR) by angry protesters. The ANP leader was arrested on Sunday after a PTI worker Habibullah was killed in area of Nowshera in a clash between ANP and PTI workers.
