Female family members quarrel on LHC premises as court gives girl to mother

LAHORE (92 News) – Female family members of both families quarreled with each other on the premises of the Lahore High Court (LHC) minutes before the court granted the custody of five-year-old Ramsha to her mother. Ramsha’s mother Ruqayya Bibi had submitted an application in court, seeking the custody of her daughter who allegedly had been held captive by her former husband’s relatives. The court delayed the hearing after the initial hearing for some time. During the break, female members of both families quarreled and exchanged hot words with each other. Security officials intervened in the matter and calmed them down.
