Court issues arrest warrants for Shehbaz Sharif’s daughter, son-in-law

LAHORE (92 News) – Accountability Court No 2 Judge Naseem Ahmed Virk has issued arrest warrants for Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif's daughter Rabia and son-in-law Ali Imran in a corruption case on Wednesday.

The court also declared Rabia and Ali Imran as proclaimed offender, ordering to confiscate their properties. The accused allegedly embezzled funds from the Punjab Power and Development Company and government institutes.

Rabia and Ali Imran have been accused of gaining financial benefits for being owner of Fatima Developers. Sections of the Money Laundering Act had been included in the NAB reference filed against them. Moreover, the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) funds were transferred to Fatima Developers.

Fatima and Ali Imran have been declared most wanted for continuous absence from court. Earlier, they were declared most wanted in the Saaf Pani case.
