Court moved to seek relief for Nawaz Sharif under NAB Amendment Ordinance

LAHORE (92 News) - A citizen has filed a petition seeking relief for PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in the plots allotment case under the NAB Amendment Ordinance.

The petition filed in an accountability court states that the NAB has no power to proceed in a case valued less than Rs500 million.

It demanded that the court had already acquit three accused in the case. It demanded that the court should restore Nawaz Sharif's confiscated assets and acquit him in the case.

The petitioner has also challenged the jurisdiction of the accountability court.
