Court rejects plea for extending Ch Pervaiz Elahi's remand in illegal appointments case

LAHORE (92 News) - A local court rejected the plea for extending the physical remand of PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in the illegal appointments case on Monday.

Later, he was sent to jail. Talking to the media, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that Israel is busy in genocide of the Palestinians, while the government is rejoicing in the name of Lahore Mela.

"The rulers are clapping instead of protesting against the Zionist atrocities. Palestine has been turned into a graveyard. The Punjab government should help the Muslims of Palestine and raise voice in favour of them," he maintained.
